The figure on the right is in dress uniform, the one on the left in kit as worn during the Gulf War. Commissioned bwere also produced asy the officers' mess of the regiment . The figures were also produced in bronze editions (click here).

Made for the Regimental Museum at Edinburgh Castle. The Royal Scots or the First Regiment of Foot are the oldest infantry regiment in the British Army, their nickname being "Pontius Pilate's Bodyguard". The statuette depicts a modern bandsman.

Commissioned by the Sergeants' and Warrant Officers' Mess of the Royal Highland Fusiliers, whose base is in Glasgow.
